To Tell The Truth

This is another how-well-do-you-know-me posts. I know you love 'em!

Here's how you play - I'm going to give you a group of statements and you have to guess which one is a LIE. I'll give you the answers in the comments, so don't cheat!

a. I once had a rabbit named Snuffles.
b. I once had a doll named Sally.
c. I once had a teddy bear named Gus.

d. My first kiss was when I was 18.
e. I first held a boy's hand when I was 14.
f. My first boyfriend was when I was 15.

g. I'm thinking of moving to France.
h. I'm thinking of moving to Portland.
i. I'm thinking of moving to Salt Lake.

For Halloween, I've dressed up as:
j. a raisin
k. a pumpkin
l. an angel

m. Someday I want to go bungee jumping
n. Someday I want to go hang gliding.
o. Someday I want to jump out of a plane.

p. I don't like the sound of nails on a chalkboard.
q. I don't like the color combination of purple and orange.
r. I don't like the feel of cotton balls.

s. One of my three favorite books is Les Miserables by Victor Hugo.
t. One of my three favorite books is And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie.
u. One of my three favorite books is Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury.

At some point in my lengthy college career:
v. I majored in French.
w. I majored in Nutrition.
x. I majored in Mathmatics.

y. I would rather sit than stand.
z. I would rather lie down than sit.

Looking back, some of these are rather obvious, but that's okay, right???

How did you do??

Wow, I did worse than I thought I would. I got 5 out of 9 right...so I guess that's better than 50%. You're not thinking about moving to Portland anymore?!?!

I only got one right. I could usually guess one right of the three but not the other one. Are you sure you didn't have a rabbit named Snuffles? Or was that Jason?

Check your history, I am quite sure you majored in French at one point.

Wow this was hard. I was pretty sure you had been kissed before you were 18. I was wondering if you had made a decision yet on your move, have you?

Well that was fun! I ddin't do to well. Oh well. Lets get together sometime soon. I could use some me time. Let me know when you are available and I will work something out for my kids.

Aly, nope, I'm not thinking about moving to Portland any more. I figured that if I was going to move out-of-state, why not go for somewhere a little more exotic?

Framed, I don't remember anyone having a rabbit named Snuffles, but it's a cute name isn't it? I have a rabbit now named Harris. Get it???

Cjane - sorry, but I only ever minored in French. I thought that may be tricky! I had so many majors, that you would have thought French would have been at some point, but nope.

Cassie, still no decision on my move. Honestly, I'm trying to take my time with this, so even though I'm leaning one way, I'm not going to make up my mind until I've been leaning this way for a couple more weeks.

Melissa, I would love to go out with you! Thursdays tend to be excellent nights for me - what about you?

Editor's note: my rabbit now is stuffed - just for those of you who thought otherwise and wondered where in my tiny apartment I could keep a live bunny.

That was fun....
...but really difficult for me!

Thanks for sharing!

yeah, I would guess French over Mathematics. But maybe I'm just projecting my own preferences on you!
I thought you'd kissed earlier too.

Bad choice on scratching Portland from the moving options. I would come see you in Portland, but I'll never make it to France. (You figured that out already, didn't you? That's why you're leaning toward France. Am I right?!)

I got 3 correct is all. We once had a bunny named Freckles. Not Snuffles, but close.

The Portland one threw me off, too.

I did pick bungee jumping, but that's probably, because I wouldn't like to go, either.

I thought about the cruise guy when I read "Gus", so I picked that one.

I was surprised about the Agatha Christie book... but, that PLAY we saw about it in St. George is now one of your favorite plays, right? Ha, ha... just kidding.

I thought both y and z could be true, so I didn't pick one for that group.

Needless to say... I didn't do very well with this game. That just means I need to hang out with you more!!! :)

That was harder than you thought, I think. I thought that you were 17 for your first kiss.

I am with Sarah on the Gus reasoning.

It turned out that the only ones I got right were your halloween costumes and the bunjee jumping ones. ...and I call myself your friend...

Okay, so I'm an idiot.

I WAS 17 when I was first kissed - as a few of you pointed out. It actually took Cardine writing it to jog my brain and remind me that I was 17, not 18. Honestly, though, I wasn't trying to trip anyone up - in my head I really thought I was 18 - probably because it was my senior year in high school. Senior year in high school = 18.

SORRY!
